Derwent Valley Tasmania

'The Grand Old Dame on the Derwent River’ was built using convict labour in 1825 in the picturesque town of New Norfolk in #DerwentValleyTasmania.

Woodbridge on the Derwent is named after the original wooden bridge built in 1834 which originally crossed the River Derwent, opening up the way to the West Coast.

Heritage listed Woodbridge is now an accredited 5 Star hotel. It is Tasmania’s only Small Luxury Hotel of the World and was listed as one of Australia’s Top 10 Luxury Hotels by Business Review Magazine.

Used to be a A Gentleman's Residence and then, later a Boy's Home. Fell into disrepair in the late 80's

Beautiful

That looks so beautiful, you would go a long way to find something as lovely as this

A beautiful wedding in a lovely setting. Glen Derwent was built my direct descendant James Bryan Cullen who was a first fleeter.

Looks wonderful 😊
