Some lovely comments from our visitors.
"Lovely Afternoon. Great scones and tea (and the kids loved a hot chocolate). Price was more than reasonable, service impeccable and the property itself is gorgeous."
"I phoned on a Sunday afternoon to see if there were any gluten free options on the menu, the owner Liz said they'd done gluten free scones before and would bake us some if we were thinking of stopping in as she needed to go to the shops and would grab some gluten free flour too. I was blown away! We arrived less than a couple of hours later to generous serves of freshly baked warm gluten-free scones which were absolutely beautiful, so light and fluffy, not to mention the homemade blackcurrant jam, freshly whipped cream and generous pot of tea. Ruth and Liz both greeted us warmly, we felt like we were in the company of old friends! We will certainly be back, there was nothing I could fault about Glen Derwent and will spread the word to friends and family. Thank you!"
"Went today for lunch with a bunch of girlfriends. Had the most amazing food more than we could ever eat and more available if wanted. Hosts were lovely and we were very lucky to get a tour of the beautiful home. Will be going again many times. Next time high afternoon tea here we come."

Wow they were all buds last week. Looks stunning, especially with that glorious Camellia in the background.
